Dreams Under Construction Project
The Dreams Under Construction Project focuses on allowing youth to ‘dream’ of what they want their community to be in the future. This act of dreaming is then channelled through the power of the arts where youth explore expressive ways to invite other youth in sharing their dreams.
The most recent DUC Project was our T-shirt Gallery where youth used silk screen to channel their ideas of a better Toronto onto a t-shirt. Each t-shirt was then displayed and placed in an auction where local Torontonians could bid or purchase t-shirts. The proceeds were divided two ways between participating artists and Touchstone. This event raised over $1200.
Stayed tuned for our next Dreams Under Construction Project for 2012!
